Use a persistent email address. Temporary or disposable mailboxes are not accepted; regular Proton Mail and Tuta addresses are welcome. An authenticator app is required for two-factor authentication. Save your backup codes offline: password resets never remove two-factor authentication, and account restoration is not guaranteed if you lose both your authenticator and backup codes.
